Back in early February Kevin Beares (Microsoft Redmond) presented on WHS to a large enthusiastic audience at BCIT.  At that meeting I asked if there was interest in having a Special Interest Group devoted to WHS. 40+ people indicated an interest and, finally, things are now underway. It took longer than hoped due to moving the VANTUG website and some other technical challenges.

This site is not intended to compete with or simply duplicate existing WHS sites or sources of information. Links to those resources will be provided (see the Resources page). Although this site is a sub-site of the VANTUG site, membership in VANTUG is neither required nor expected. If you happen to be a VANTUG member you will still need to register here for inclusion on the WHS mailing list. Aditionally you will need to choose different login credentials to avoid a conflict with the VANTUG website.

WHS covers a wide spectrum of interest and technologies and therefore this site is intended for all members of the IT Community. The purpose of the group is to organize events covering as many of the aspects of WHS as possible. My aim is to have at least one meeting prior to the summer break for July and August. If you have suggested topics either for now or in the future, or contacts that could present to the group please get in touch.
